PGW Pilates GYROTONIC® Dance Studio is a refined space where strength, artistry, and mindful movement come together. Rooted in the precision of classical Pilates and inspired by the expressive flow of dance, PGW offers an elevated experience designed to nurture both body and spirit.

Our instructors guide each session with expertise and care, focusing on alignment, control, and graceful transitions. Every class is thoughtfully crafted to build core strength, enhance flexibility, refine posture, and encourage confident, fluid movement. Whether you’re just beginning your wellness journey or looking to deepen your practice, PGW provides an environment that supports progress at every level.

The studio itself is warm, serene, and meticulously designed—soft lighting, clean lines, and music create an atmosphere that feels both energizing and restorative. Here, clients can slow down, reconnect, and grow stronger through purposeful, elegant movement.

At PGW, our policies are thoughtfully designed to ensure a positive, safe, and seamless experience for all clients and team members. These guidelines establish clear expectations, support smooth studio operations, and uphold the exceptional quality of our services.

Our mission is to promote wellness through personalized instruction in a supportive, empowering environment. Thank you for taking the time to review our policies — we look forward to seeing you in the studio!

1. Cancellation Policy

To maintain fairness and accommodate all clients effectively:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session to retain your credit.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours), no-shows, or arrivals more than 15 minutes late will result in the automatic forfeiture of the associated credit.

2. Waitlist Policy

  • Each class waitlist is limited to two clients.
  • If you join the waitlist but no longer plan to attend, it is your responsibility to remove yourself.
  • When you are moved from the waitlist into a class, you are automatically enrolled, and the 24-hour cancellation policy applies immediately.

3. Grace Period for Late Arrival

  • A 15-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals.
  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be permitted to join the class for safety reasons, and the credit will be forfeited.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases made through MindBody or PGW — including single sessions, packages, gift cards, loyalty cards, and retail items — are:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable

5. Pregnancy Policy

Pregnant clients must inform PGW prior to participating in any classes.

For safety reasons:

  • Pregnant clients can participate in private sessions only.

6. Health & Safety

  • Medical Clearance

Clients must be in good physical health and capable of participating in PGW activities. If you have injuries, medical conditions, or concerns, please notify your instructor before class.

  • Liability Waiver

All clients must sign a waiver of liability prior to attending their first class.

  • Injury or Illness

Clients experiencing injury or illness must inform their instructor and refrain from activities that may worsen their condition.

  • Proper Attire
  • Wear comfortable, non-restrictive, breathable workout clothing.
  • Grip socks are required for all Pilates and GYROTONIC® sessions.
  • Outdoor shoes are not permitted inside the studio. Please remove them and place them on the shoe rack upon arrival.
  • For dance classes, indoor dance shoes are required.

7. Media & Photography Release

By attending classes at PGW, you consent to the use of your likeness in photos or videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes, both online and offline.

If you prefer not to have your image used, you must provide written notice prior to your class.

8. Governing Law

These studio policies are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts located in New York.

By attending classes or making purchases, you agree to abide by these policies.

9. Changes to Studio Policy

PGW reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and revised terms will apply to all future transactions and participation.

Kelly (Yaoyao) Li

National Master-Level Athlete | Pilates & Gyrotonic® Instructor

Kelly began training in rhythmic gymnastics at the age of six and became a professional rhythmic gymnast at eleven. She represented China multiple times at the Asian Championships, the Four Continents Championships, and other international rhythmic gymnastics competitions. Her top career achievements include 5th place at the World Championships and Silver Medalist at the Four Continents Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. She is a National Master-Level Athlete of China and a Chinese Rhythmic Gymnastics Champion.

After retiring from professional competition, Kelly became a professional rhythmic gymnastics coach, where she trained numerous outstanding athletes who went on to win championships at both national and international competitions.

She later became a Pilates and GYROTONIC® instructor, holding a Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Certification and GYROTONIC® Level 1 Certification. With extensive hands-on teaching experience, she specializes in developing scientifically tailored training programs, effectively supporting the enhancement of professional performance, addressing postural issues, and assisting with body conditioning and management.

Winnie is a Pilates instructor trained at Sal Anthony Movement Salon, with over 15 years of dedicated Pilates practice and more than 8 years of professional teaching experience.

Her teaching is rooted in precision, mindful movement, and deep body awareness. Winnie is passionate about helping clients build a strong, balanced body while cultivating sustainable energy and long-term physical health.

She works with a wide range of clients—from complete beginners to experienced movers—adapting each session to meet individual needs while maintaining a challenging, intelligent, and effective practice. Winnie believes Pilates is not just a workout, but a powerful tool for transforming how you move, feel, and live.

Patricia Stewart

Patricia Stewart

GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® Master Trainer

Patricia Stewart has been teaching GYROTONIC® exercise for over 17 years and is a highly experienced GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Master Trainer. She is certified in all specialized GYROTONIC® equipment, including the Jumping Stretching Board, GYROTONER®, Archway, and Leg Extension Unit, and serves as a GYROTONIC® Master Trainer for both Level 1 and Level 2, as well as a GYROKINESIS® and GYROTONER® Master Trainer.

Before becoming a trainer, Patricia was a dedicated student of the work for more than five years, discovering GYROTONIC® while working as a Pilates instructor. She has completed GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Level 2 studies, all three Therapeutic Application Courses, and numerous specialized trainings, including Applications for Dancers and Applications for Golf.

Originally from Long Island, Patricia is thrilled to be bringing and expanding GYROTONIC® in the community where she grew up. She loves guiding people of all ages and fitness levels toward greater harmony, flow, and joy in movement, helping them feel more at home in their bodies.

Patricia has worked with a wide range of clients, including professional dancers, high-level athletes, physical therapists, martial artists, yoga and Pilates teachers, seniors, and children. Her experience also includes working with individuals recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions, such as joint replacements, spinal cord injuries, TBI, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, scoliosis, arthritis, and Lyme disease. At the heart of her work is supporting people who value a healthy, inspired approach to fitness and the vitality that GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® can bring to everyday life.

Zoe began dancing at the age of six and quickly developed a deep passion for the art form. She trained with AIM Company at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and went on to attend Dean College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance.

During her college years, Zoe began teaching and training competitive and recreational dancers at local studios, successfully coaching students to strong placements at regional competitions. Having recently returned to New York, she is excited to bring her training, experience, and dedication to the PGW team.

Jennifer Zhu

Jennifer Zhu

Professional Dance Instructor | Champion Latin Dancer

Jennifer is a professional dance instructor with extensive training and performance experience both in China and internationally. She is a certified professional teacher with the UK Royal Academy of Dance (IDTA) and has won multiple championships, including the Southeast Asia Professional Latin Dance Champion and China International Standard Latin Dance Champion. She is also a Gold Award recipient of China’s prestigious “Lotus Dance Award.”

Jennifer received formal training in folk dance at Guangxi Minzu Art School and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the Beijing International Standard Dance Academy. She has worked with the Beijing Song and Dance Troupe as a National First-Class Performer and was specially invited to serve as a guest professor at the Beijing Dance Academy.

She specializes in teaching Latin dance, jazz, modern dance, classical dance, and folk dance. With a strong foundation in technique and performance, Jennifer is passionate about helping students build confidence, artistry, and a deep understanding of dance.
